New Solar PV Tariffs Announced for GreeceJanuary 22, 2009 Greece has announced revised solar PV tariffs for 2009. The tariffs are €0.45/kWh ($0.58 USD/kWh) for systems less than 100 kW on the mainland and €0.50/kWh ($0.65 USD/kWh) for systems less than 100 kW on Greek islands. The program is expected to also include grants, according to the Greek solar energy association. There is a substantial backlog of projects awaiting approval.
