Renewable Energy Tariffs in Slovakia

  • Slovak Solar FITs Revised--On July 1, a new law to cap construction of solar power stations came into power. Under this law, only solar power stations that have an installed capacity of less than 100 kW and that are sited on the roofs or walls of existing buildings can qualify for guaranteed feed-in tariffs. The law was passed by the Economy Ministry of the Iveta Radic(ová government in order to halt a boom in construction of photovoltaic power stations. . .
