California Feed-in Tariff Bills 2008Februaryy 28, 2008 Two feed-in tariff bills have also been introduced into the California State Assembly. AB 1920, though labeled a feed-in tariff, amends California policy on net metering, and AB 1807 implements recommendations by the California Energy Commission for feed-in tariffs for projects less than 20 MW. In addition, SB 1714 was introduced into the California State Senate. Like AB 1920 it is a modified net metering bill and limits projects to 20 MW and the total program to 1,000 MW.
