The workshops are free but reservations are required. See the workshop descriptions, which will be posted shortly, for full details. These are advanced workshops intended only for those seriously interested in the economic theory behind tariff setting and the formulas necessary to calculate tariffs that pay for the cost of generation plus a reasonable profit. The one-day workshops are condensed from a multi-day presentation. Consequently, the workshops assume that participants understand renewable energy technology as well as terms such as, return-on-equity, average weighted cost of capital, internal rate of return, interest, and inflation.
