Summary of Ambient Noise Measurements
There was generally good agreement with the measurement of ambient conditions
for the three seperate tests. Note that the ambient for the Ampair and Air
403 tests was higher than that for the BWC 850. The reason for this is that
the meter during these tests was near one of the guy cables of the Bergey
and the meter recorded the "singing" of the cable in the wind. It's interesting
that the meter could pick this up. There were no guy cables near the meter
during the tests on the Bergey and thus the meter didn't record any "singing"
of the guys and the ambient measurements were lower.
