This category grew out of a series of so-called studies from right wing think tanks in Europe and North America that developing renewable energy, and particularly wind energy, would kill jobs. Of course, the opposite is true, but it took some time for the truth to put its pants on, as they say. Eventually, the flap died down once the media realized they were being taken in by dubious "research" from groups hired to preserve the status quo.
