We leased a 2015 Nissan Leaf in October of 2014 from a dealer in Northern California and had it delivered to us in Bakersfield. We chose the down-market model S with DC Fast Charge option. We had planned to move to the 60 kWh Leaf at the end of our lease, but when that version failed to arrive on the market we moved to the Chevy Bolt. We turned the Leaf into the local dealer in October 2017 after having driven it 17,000 miles. At the time we had three vehicles, including a work truck. Though limited in range, we made the Leaf work for us as explained in the articles below. In so doing, we got to see parts of California that most drivers never visit.
