California Post Card

There are more than 15,000 wind turbines operating in the state of California. These wind turbines generate more than 3 Terawatt-hours (3,000 million kWh) of electricity per year or enough electricity to meet the residential needs of more than 1.3 million Californians. The same generation could meet the residential electrical needs of 2.5 million northern Europeans.
